Day 17
Today Morning meeting was about the fundraising we have to develop to the Atitlan´s trip. I bring many Mexican candies so we can start selling them in a more expensive price so we can get profit of them. Later of this discussion, Alejo who is the one in charge of the morning meeting present us 3 songs playing by him in his guitar, one of this song is written by him and the others are from other artists.
-The first one is titled “You cant always get what you want “ from the Rolling Stones.
-The other that we listened it is called “ Fuera de Foco” this song is the one that is written by him it talks about a special girl.
- The next song that we listened is called “ Te para tres” from Soda Stereo.
We analyzed the letter of this last song. All of us said our interpretation of the song and at the end Alejo make us reflect that sometimes we assume and imagine what someone is trying to say and what they really mean is completely different of what we think it is.
Greek
Today Moris gave us the class based on the chapter 2 of the Foulkes book. The lasts classes that Moris gave to us for me are terrible because of the heavy environment that some members of the group created because they are incompatible with his way of teach us. Thanks to the book getting real some days ago we do an exercise were we confront the persons that talk bad to Moris and we explained that there are many pacific ways to get into a good conclusion. The class of today was an excellent class because of the previous commitment that all of us agree on. Today we listened Moris with more attention and we ask him to reschedule our time of class. Also we are overdue of the lessons we have to do during the week of the Founds book. We make a commitment to have completed the lesson 14 for the next morning.
Performance Art
Today in performance art we started our fundraising from Atitlan trip. I am little disappointed with all my friends because when I think in fundraising I think in a way to fund money in a organize way so that way when we want to ask for donations to some persons we can have practice in being organized with the accounts of MPC. Instead of look for the price of the candies that we are going to sell the entire group only look for price and start to sell them. I now that the money that I invest in buying this candies is going to be returned to me but I´m concerned that we didn’t have the registration of who is responsible for each candy. I accept it could be my fault to don’t say anything to my classmates but I´m really tired so my solution was only make a recount of the candies and of the money that we have at the end of the day and document it.

Getting Real
Gabriel Calzada
Today we discussed Getting Real. We have a special visitor his name is Gabriel Calzda the next rector of Francisco Marroquin University. I has to confess that I before met him I has some prejudices about him just because I really like the way Giancarlo is with the students and because I’m really sad that the next year he is not going to be the rector anymore. Later when we get started with the conversation I started to opened my mind trying to now more about what my friends think about the book Getting Real and how Gabriel Calzada interpret this book only by listened to our opinions. In this space I want to recognize the great opportunity that we as students of the MPC have. We have the chance to know and be friends of very important and interesting people that in the future can help us with our professional projects. I am really excited to learn from Gabriel all the knowledge that he has. We discuss about what is getting real but I had already consternation about being real all the time. An example of what I’m talking about consist in the way we act, sometimes we didn’t want to do something for example wake up from bed but we do it because we know that the correct way of act is going out of bed and go to study. Our reason makes us moving out of bed because if we want to achieve certain goals in our life we have to work in them. So in this example we can analyzed that being real is doing what I feel and what I feel is that I want to sleep more time but our reason make us to the correct thing that was waked up bed and go to studied. Sometimes we have to live by what we know what is correct not only by what our feelings demand us to do.
